PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS:Sowers will end overnight with temperatures falling into the lower to middle 50s. Friday will feature passing clouds, much cooler temperatures, and a few afternoon showers. Highs will struggle in the middle to upper 60s. As skies clear Friday night, heat will escape, allowing temperatures to cool to the lower to middle 40s.
EXTENDED FORECAST:The coolest air we've seen for months is expected across southern Wisconsin Saturday, with low temperatures in the lower to mid 40s and high temperatures in the 60s. Sunday will warm up a bit back into the lower to middle 70s with sunny skies. Temperatures will continue to warm up next week with highs in the upper 70s/lower to the middle 80s from Monday through the following weekend. We also are expecting dry conditions into the weekend and perhaps the following week. The consistent dry weather for the foreseeable future may cause drought conditions to develop.
